I just hate building molds/jigs when there are so many people out there who do an outstanding job. I especially hate routing large patterns...what a mess. Anyhow, does anybody know where I can get a mold like the one pictured below where if fits a classical guitar with a traditional spanish heel? It looks like the mold is just cut away where the neck would fit. Any help would be greatly appreciated. ![]() Thank you! John |

Mark Kett of GuitarJigs.com makes REALLY nice molds. I don't know if one like that is standard for him, but he may be willing to custom make it for you. |

Hi John, I knew you made great molds because I have your OLF SJ mold, however I didn't realize that you made a classical mold like this. I'll definitely be giving you a call then because my side bending jig is from you, and I would like the mold to match the Hauser side pattern that I got with the bending jig. I've got about three more really busy weeks of work, then I'm going to put the building in high gear again and I'll be shooting you an e-mail. Does it look like the mold in the pic above is resting on top of the radius dish for attaching the top? This is the only pic I have of the setup. Cheers! John |

John, that mold is attached to a solera, I believe. You can see the neck extension of the solera sticking out around the neck. |
